Hordes Creek Lake

So our two week stay at Canyon Lake is over, we are packed up and ready to hit the road again. The next destination is Hordes Creek Lake. The campground we will stay at is Lakeside US Army Corp of Engineer Campground. We will miss Canyon, but are excited about seeing new places.
Lakeside is about ten miles west of Coleman, TX. Coleman is a pretty neat town. Spent some time at the library and riding my bicycle around town. The old downtown was paved in brick, which I think is cool. The downtown part did have a few vacant stores. Coleman did have everything we needed; grocery store, laundry, and wifi.
Our stay at Lakeside was nice and quiet. There were few people there and most stayed on the other side of the park. We had no neighbors except for a couple of nights. The stars were so bright at night. The deer would come right up to the RV. Yeah, our stay at Lakeside was real pleasant.
We stay our two weeks and headed out for the Big Country of Texas. Our goal is to boondock and stay in free campsites for the entire month on May. We will see how this will go.
